businesses, government agencies and nonprofit organizations to assist them
in approaching litigation, devising strategies or resolving internal
conflict:
Facilitation of update
of strategic plan. Asked to facilitate update of the strategic plan of
health industry not for profit, 2008.
Facilitation of
strategic plan and change in organizational structure. Asked to
facilitate update of the strategic plan and next steps for an
international not for profit professional society, 2008.
Facilitation -
coordination of government responses. Joe was asked to facilitate
meetings among various government agencies to coordinate responses to
emergencies.
Mediation - club
membership. Joe was asked to mediation a pending court case involving
the termination of club membership in a dispute over whether club rules
were inequitably applied.
Facilitation
– nonprofit conflicts and strategy. Joe was asked to facilitate conflicts within nonprofit
organizations and to help them develop strategies.
Facilitation
– medical group dispute. A hospital and group of practicing physicians asked Joe to
facilitate discussions concerning workplace and contract disputes to help
clarify the choices the parties had concerning improving or terminating
their continuing employment and business relationships.
Mediation -
homeowner's association dispute. A group of homeowners and its
association board asked Joe to mediation discussions to resolve long term
and high conflict among homeowners.
Mediation
– dissolution of medical practice. A group of physicians asked Joe to mediation the terms of the
breakup of their practice into two separate practicing groups.
Mediation
– dissenting shareholder. Joe was asked to mediate a dispute over the value of dissenting
shareholder rights pursuant to statute.
